The Art Club Foundation is a registered non-profit company (NPC) dedicated to supporting, advocating for, and raising awareness about the needs of children living with disabilities and special needs. Established in February 2022, the Foundation focuses on creating environments that are accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the individual requirements of these children.
The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) was the first international instrument to explicitly recognize the rights of children with disabilities, affirming that they are entitled to the same protections and opportunities as all children. However, children with disabilities remain fundamentally vulnerable and often face unique societal challenges, including stigmatization, traditional beliefs, economic barriers, and inadequate access to resources. Inclusive education and tailored support are essential to ensure these children can thrive equally within schools and the broader community.
To advance its mission, The Art Club Foundation implements its work along the following pillars:
Programmes and Field Projects – Initiatives that create meaningful, accessible experiences for children with disabilities and special needs.
Advocacy and Awareness Training – Promoting understanding, inclusion, and rights-based approaches among communities and stakeholders.
Increased Support – Offering targeted interventions to meet the educational, social, and developmental needs of children with disabilities.
Art as a Tool for Impact – Leveraging creative practices to empower children, raise awareness, and foster inclusion.
Strategic Partnerships – Collaborating with other foundations, organizations, and stakeholders to amplify the Foundation’s impact and reach.
Through these efforts, The Art Club Foundation seeks to champion an inclusive culture that empowers children with disabilities to participate fully in society, realize their potential, and enjoy equitable learning and life opportunities.
