MKHUTHAZELI KHUKS NKWANYANA

Mkhuthazeli Nkawnyana (b. 1994, Johannesburg, South Africa), affectionately known as Khuks, is a multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice blends imagination, spirituality, and a profound connection to nature. His creative journey began in baking, where he first discovered his talent for creation, before transitioning into animation and mini comics, which marked his initial foray into the visual arts.

In 2017, Nkawnyana fully committed to his artistic practice, developing a unique visual language he terms Sacred Geometry. Through this medium, he explores and shares his multidimensional, esoteric experiences, capturing the universal patterns found in nature from constellations and clouds to trees and landscapes.

For Nkawnyana, each artwork is a reflection of the awe inspiring moments he has encountered while observing the natural world. His practice invites viewers to recognize the inherent patterns and energies that connect all living things, encouraging a deeper engagement with the universe. Through his art, Khuks inspires audiences to embark on their own journey of discovery, cultivating a sense of wonder, connection, and reverence for the world around them.
