The second, Her Place in History, overlays Thando’s modern image onto two Zulu maidens, connecting her present identity to her lineage. The third portrays an ancient Zulu woman, exposed yet adorned in fabrics she wove herself. Together, these pieces celebrate the enduring beauty of the female form, tracing a lineage of artistry and resilience.
